This is the cast of Rent-a-Ghost! This was a popular series in the early 1980's and was one of my favourites. View McWitch - she was a witch from Scotland with silver skin. The graphics and special effects in this show were horrendous! This made it all the more enjoyable. |
Here are some classic photographs from the Australian soap Opera 'Neighbours' - view them.
The picture on the right shows Mrs Mangel. She was a crabby old witch who lived in one of the bungalows on Ramsey Street. The children didn't like her cos she was mean. She eventually got married and went with all her horrible furniture to England. I have never seen her though.

This is one of my favorite images - look at it.
The picture on the left shows Cheryl. She came into our soap opera as she had won the lottery. She fancied Lou Carpenter. However, several years later she got run over. Although she would of survived this unfortunate accident, Karl, the local doctor, gave her a lethal injection "by accident". |

To the right, you may view a picture of Henry Ramsey. Unfortunately, he had a magpie's nest on his head when this picture was taken.

The picture on the left shows Helen Daniels. She was in Neighbours for a very long time. Towards the end of her long and varied acting career as a meddling old woman, she got married to a man named Ruben. Several minutes later he died of a heart attack - it must of been all the excitment of doing those fabulous water colour paintings. |

The picture on the right reveals Debbie Martin. She was way too unattractive to be allowed to stay in this soap opera for long. Despite her pink 90's hat, she looks as though both her eyes have been poked out with a sharp pencil. Viewing this image makes me want to poke MY eyes out with a sharp pencil.

The photograph on the left shows Julie Martin. She had a very ugly daughter called Debbie (pictured above) and another one called Hannah that was annoying as well as unattractive. Her step-son, Mike Martin (who also played a minor role in 'Pugwall's Summer), hated her and made her think she was going mad. This was very amusing. |
